I won easily Wednesday with the underdog Knicks who beat fading Phoenix straight up.
1* Knicks -5 1/2
Let's come right back on the improving Knicks who play a disintegrating Grizzlies team. Memphis' new coach, Lionel Hollins (an assistant with Milwaukee), isn't joining the team for a few days so the interim coach will be ignored by the players. The Grizzlies are only 2-16 SU on the road. The Knicks are playing together for D'Antoni and have a day of rest off a home game.
1* Bulls -2
This is another play against a team that has quit. Toronto made a disastrous move to fire Mitchell earlier in the year and the players are ignoring the nobody who replaced him. The Raptors have lost seven in a row and were blown out at Detroit Wednesday. The Bulls are in the exact same situation---listless players and a terrible coach. But they are at home and played decently in three consecutive close losses. Bulls are 13-9 SU at home; Raptors 8-16 SU on the road. Given the small number, the play here seems obvious.
