OK guys...nice flurry of guys signing up and adding squares last night.

Here's where we stand


I have 80 requests for squares taken.

I have 75 of those squares paid for.

4 of those squares I know that the check will be in the mail.

The last one I'm not sure of and I've made a seperate post about.

For those that signed up late last night, I sent you the link if you haven't gotten it already. You need to make sure you put your name in the squares you want so that we can fill the board.

I will have the numbers generated at 11pm tonight. As it was last year, this site generates the numbers. I request it once and once only. We get what we get.

IF there are any blank squares they will remain blank, and if the blank square is a winner, there will be no winner, and no money given out. If the blank square is the winner of the final score, I think it would be fair that we make the winner the previous score winner. I am up for any other suggestions, but I think this is the only way to do it.

Hopefully we'll get 20 more out of the way today and it won't matter. But that's plan B just in case.

John, If the pool isn't filled this sounds good. But would like to add a suggestion. If the final score is a blank box should we consider splitting the final money between the final scores of previous quarters....just a thought.

I got an email from someone in this forum who has paid for two squares for you.

He asked that he not be named only said the following:

"John, I would like to pay for 2 squares for Bryce. Please don't tell him who paid for him. He does a lot for the site, and I hope he picks 2 winning squares. He is due for some good luck. I do want this to be anonymous."

Pretty awesome gesture by a very good guy in this forum.

This site never ceases to amaze me with what kind of people we have here. This is an awesome gesture and I appreciate who did this for me.I went back and forth as to play this year but thought sitting this one out. I wanted to help at the end if the squares weren't full and try my luck--help out to get the squares full. AGAIN this has made my day and whomever got the heart of gold out there I appreciate you. I can't even begin to say how much something like this means to me.

yes it has buddy...5 months and I am not out of the water yet...I have a CT hip aspiration this week where they will be sticking a needle in me and drawing out whatever is in there. They think I may have another infection which could land me back in the hospital. I can't afford that as my job gave me 6 months to get well and I am not even close. CHEERS to all you good people!
