Probably frustrated at the level of play of Arizona. However, theres no way they cut him before the big dance. And personally I don't believe he's washed up. I think he has another 2-3 good years left in him.

It wasnt three weeks ago, it was two months ago that he asked to be released. And it was because he wasnt getting enough playing time. Three weeks ago on the other hand he rushed for 100 yards against Seattle and has been solid contributor in all three of their playoff wins. So why would you cut him now? Because he wanted more playing time and asked for it? Then asked to be released, his request was declined and he proceeded to put up very good numbers since that request. Doesnt make much sense to release him to me anyway. Not to mention his late season and post season numbers say he isnt washed up.
