  • Tony dungy to step down

Foxsports.com is reporting that the Colts will hold a press conference at 5:00 today to report Dungy is leaving.I know he is a family man but with the new stadium and a couple more years with Peyton,it had to be tough to leave. He hasn't been the same IMO since the death of his son.I think faith and family is so important to him right now that leaving football seemed like the right thing to do.

He is a good coach. Wonder how this will affect the Colts?

I think alot.He was a good man and a good leader for those guys.I think he's done for good.I don't see him leaving the Colts and then coaching somewhere else.

Actually, I don't beleive it will be a huge impact as some might think.. His replacement has been selected for sometime now, which was Peytons QB coach for some time!! I think Jim Caldwell will be able to step in right where Dungy stepped out!

Eveyone should thank Tony for having been such a class act in a league that at times looks very classless.
