why not

get an Internet-enabled cell phone with a link to a sports web site like ESPN or CBS Sportsline? The notion of calling a scores update line and sitting through 5 minutes of ads for scamdicappers before catching your score (which is hardly current by the time you get it) are as antiquated as the horse and carriage.

Here is an 800 number that is pretty cool.....it is all voice command activated. Scores are about 10 to 15 minutes within actual time.

800-555-8355

When it answers it just say "Tell Me"
(it has all categories of News, Sports, Weather, Entertainment..etc

If for instance you want the score for Missouri just say:

"Sports"
"Football"
"College"
"Missouri"

If you leave it at the "College" prompt it will begin to go through all current scores and then upcoming games later.

I use it when I'm away from home....
