I won Wednesday night with the Nets (somehow favored by only 4 against lousy Memphis) and am 9-3 my last 12 in the NBA.
2* Raptors -5 1/2
I won Wednesday going against the Grizzlies and this is a prime spot to try to beat them again. Toronto is playing its best ball of the year----always try to get on the mini-rolls of medicore teams as the lines never catch up---and the NBA, like baseball, is a game of streaks (look at Boston right now). The Raptors crushed Houston, beat an excellent Orlando team, narrowly lost at Milwaukee and just beat the Wizards on the road. They're back home with a day of rest and an off day Saturday. Memphis has lost 11 of its last 13.
1* Nets +5
I've been playing the Bucks all year and winning with Milwaukee's outstanding ATS record. But they're headed into a bad stretch. Milwaukee is only 1-6 in games without Andrew Bogut and he is likely to be out for awhile with a bad back. The Bucks have no interior defense without him and lousy Philly made them look silly beating the Bucks in Milwaukee Wednesday. Devin Harris is probably out for NJ but it's a major bonus if he plays as he's from Milwaukee and NBA players almost always come up big in their hometowns (a favorite angle of mine). The Nets have won four in a row ATS and don't play again until Monday so look for a big effort.
Opinion only:
Mavs (as I keep saying, Terry Porter is ruining the Suns)
