So far in this decade of college football, the SEC winning 3 national titles in a row is probably the 2nd most dominating thing I have witnessed. The most dominating thing IMO since 2000 was Miami winning 35 games in a row.Think about how tough the competetion is and someone winning 35 games in a row.
Im not saying the SEC is not the dominate confrence, but Stoops is also a moron not kicking those field goals with in the 5 yard line both times...it would have been a whole differnet game if that would of happend

Stoops is an idiot. I agree with everything you said

Let me preface my comments by saying I can't stand Stoops. I think he is an arrogant asshole, and I only wish him the worst. That said.................
I think this is easy to say in hindsight that Stoops is a moron for not kicking the FGs. He would have been a genius for going for it if they scored TDs.
I have zero issue with them going for it on the first 4th down play (the one Florida stopped them short on). A different play call, perhaps with hindsight. However, don't forget Oklahoma had just gotten through gashing Florida in the run game. Also don't forget that after a very slow first quarter, the 2nd quarter got off to a bang.....Florida scored a TD right away.........Sooners came back w/ a TD...........and Sooners were moving up and down the field. I'm guessing Stoops is thinking he needs TDs to beat Florida, not FGs. If this was in the 4th quarter in a defensive struggle, I'd say kick it, but not in the 2nd quarter of a game against a big time offense, when you are moving the ball rather easily.
On the drive right before the half, that's on Bardford for trying to force it in. Again, they had moved like 65 yards in less than 2 minutes. Simply put, there isn't one coach in the world that wouldn't have attempted to get the ball into the endzone with 10 seconds to go from the 10 yard line.........not one. In fact, if Stoops would have kicked a FG with 10 seconds to go, rom the 10 yard line, people would be asking for his termination. So, then it is on the player. I'd imagine whoever was in Bradford's ear told him if he wasn't 100% sure something was open, THROW IT AWAY. Throw it away, and we kick the FG. Bradford tried to force it, and that's on him, not Stoops.

Excellent post. If you know Bob Stoops at all, there was never any doubt if they were going for it or not.
No joke.....the SEC fans from down south must be some in-bred sickos the way they drool all over each other.
If KU or MU is in the championship game in any sport Im rooting so hard against them it isn't funny.
In-bred........there's an original one. We've never heard that one before...... We might be in-bred, but we whip that ass up and down the field on Saturdays.
