Mark was the first one so I'll just bet once with him.Since everyone seems to disagree with me what do you guys think the total will be that Vegas puts out.It damn sure wont be 10 and if it's 9 everyone will be on the under.So to me at 8 they will lose 2 games that they should win so I feel good about winning with 6 or pushing with 7.Just my opinion though,time will tell.

Well, here are Georgia's # of wins since Richt got there.

13, 11, 10, 10, 9, 11, 10. So for the past 7 years they have averaged 10.6 wins per year. I say no way the o/u is less than 8.5, my guess is it would be 9.

they was #1 in the country with Ga Southern on there schedule and Stafford and Moreano. and won 10 games.Now take Ga southern off and replace it with at Oklahoma state and take away Stafford and Moreano and thats 3 or 4 loses IMO.Who knows we will see in a year.either i'll be right or wrong.

I'm not even saying 8.5 or 9 is where it should be, but the point is UGA hasn't won less than 9 games in like ten years. On some level perception is reality. We aren't talking about about a johnny come lately program that has stunk for 10 years and just popped up w/ a great season. We are talking about one of the best programs in this decade. We have had to replace many first round picks over the years, and the next crop of top 10 recruiting classes just fill in.

Yall all act like I'm an idiot for thing UGA will be bad this year but the experts at ESPN have 4(four) of yalls opponents ranked ahead of UGA in the pre season top 25.That spells out 8-4 if you guys win all the other game.I like my chances.

No point in arguing this, but as mentioned, preseason polls are junk. You are also assuming we don't beat any of the teams we "aren't supposed to beat" according to rankings. The ONLY game I will say is a given loss is Florida. We can sure as shit beat teams like Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State, and I'd hope nobody is dumb enough to think those games aren't winnable. I'm NOT SAYING that we win those games either, but very foolish to think we can't beat those type of teams. I can Guarantee we have more talent on our team than anyone we play but Florida. Not saying the talent isn't young, inexperienced, or will blossom, but there is zero question that we have more talent. No, I'm just defending Georgia, no ill intent.

I'm glad we don't play Ole Miss this year, they obviously proved they are a very capable team last year.

Look, I'm a realist, and I'm not expecting great things out of Georgia next year as they have lost some important pieces. That said, I'm not expecting a bad year either, and that team shit (if they have it) can go a long way sometimes. Sometimes when teams have a couple superstarts like Stafford and Moreno, the rest of the players can sometimes stand back. Once those stars are gone, you can sometimes get everyone to buy into the team concept and they can play better than the team that had the superstars.....that's all I'm saying. There have been some rumblings that Stafford wasn't much of a leader on that team. In fact recently Richt even said Joe Cox has great leadership skills, and said he is as good of a leader as DJ Shockley. The fact that he didn't say he is as good of a leader as Stafford seems to be telling to some.


Georgia could go 7-6 or 12-1 and I'm not going to be wildly surprised. My guess is a 9-3 regular season, win a bowl game, and they get to 10 wins again.
