  • Vikings backers, please give me some knowledge

Ok...call me whatever the f you want, but how the hell is Vikes gonna win or even cover against Eagles? I've tried so hard to make myself believe that vikes can do this but jesus, no pat and jackson at the helm...I know the public is all over Eagles. And its wise to fade the public...

Please. How will vikes even keep it close. Everything tells me its Eagles are gonna be the shit out of vikes.

I agree TK. I have no idea how Minne is going to score. Philly stops the run well then they have to rely on T Jackson who will be facing the best blitz D in the league! I cant see Minne winning this game.

Philly lost 10-3 to Washington, 36-7 to Baltimore, tied cincy 13-13 and beat a disinterested Giants team in their last 4 road games. And dont forget a home romp over the most overrated overvalued team and quarterback possibly in the history of the league.

I agree Philly is a MUCH different team on the road and also McNabb is totally Jekyl and Hyde....line is inflated due to public perception of how bad they destroyed Americas team the Cowboys last week but the fact is the Boys arent even a good team this year aigft wrapped that win with turnovers...also Philly is THE MOST let me repeat THE MOST public backed NFL play of this entire weekend...love the Vikes at home in this one!!!

2 reasons....Philly really needed a big win @ Washington, after the McNabb ordeal and lost 13-10. This was not a good Washington team. 2nd....They couldn't beat the Bungals in Cinn.

This isn't Skins and this isn't the Bungals....

On the flip....Minny baet the Giants, Car, Chi, GB and Hous. All at home. Getting +3.5 just doesnt look that bad to me.

TKIM you should play the Eagles, because that is gonna suck if they win and you had the right pick.

Just don't bet a bunch if you are concerned.

we all know the NFL is up and down. You can point out bad losses for most teams. The Giants lost the Browns. I do agree that the line is inflated bc of public perception from last weeks game. Philly should be -1. It's all about streaks in the NFL and I think Philly is gonna get hot. I agree that you have to look at w-l, but stats are more telling. McNabb is second in NFL history with the least interceptions (2.2% of his passes).

Rocco, you are one the cappers here that I follow and always appreciate your feedback. It's the ONLY reason I'm haven't completely unloaded on Minny.

Two words...Adrian Peterson. The Vikes are always 1 play away from scoring on anyone from anywhere on the field. And if the Eagles stay in the box Berrian can absolutely blow by anyone. The Eagles have been helped on this line by recent performance against an imploding team.

Also...The Eagles dont cover tight ends. They have given up the most yards to tight ends in the league and the Vikes have a good receiving TE. I think this game comes down to big plays and turnovers just like any game where the teams are fairly equally matched.
