I wouldn't bet it huge, only because Tarvaris Jackson is, shall we say, the "EQUALIZER." I respect those that are on the Vikings today, and I agree that they are a good bet at +3.....

But Tarvaris Jackson does not handle pressure very well. He can't throw a deep ball unless it's a quick drop and just hang it up down the sideline and hope and pray the defense didn't blitz AND there's no safety on the side he throws it. So that narrows things for him. He can't see further than 7 yards down field, so he dumps it off to the slow, fat, white TE or the slow, fat, white FB for a 1 yard gain too often. I say this because Philly's defense will be aware of this. Sure, every once in a while he'll roll and throw to Shiancoe, but he usually doesn't do too much either. Notice how I am not mentioning any WRs. They catch, on average, about 1.5 balls apiece when T Jax QBs.

With all that said, I still think that man for man, and at home with the points, and with a trend as powerful as CoverBoy unearthed, it's still a good bet. Just don't go crazy.
Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!

The Eagles Blitz more than any other team in the NFC and the Vikings have the worst QB Rating in the NFL against the blitz. Tarvaris Jackson is a QB i couldn't use in my "Biggest Bet Ever" category. This defense (IMO) will fuck with him all day long and force him into mistakes. Samuel locks up Berrian and Philly will run blitz all day. I'm even worried about Peterson cause Philly is 4th in the NFL giving up less than 100 yards rushing per game. If they can't run and they need Jackson to win it with his arm, Good Luck with that against this 3rd ranked pass defense.

I know the public/sharps are on Minny but they lose sometimes too. One of the Williams boys is doubtful leaving the middle open, Minny has been horrible ats at home (3-7) L10 and Philly is (6-2) Ats last 8 vs NFC and (10-4) Ats in their last 14 road games. This was borderline GOY material for me but i backed off that a tiny bit. Can you win with Minny? Sure, you never know but i REALLY like the Eagles today.

              GL with whatever you do.

Its all going to come down to the Vikings being able to run the ball. If they can't they are fucked and Jackson is in for a long game.

Don't be shocked if Gus finds his way into this game at some point (IMO).

I don't know who's going to cover, but I'd never bet a "life-changing" amount of money on Tavrious Jackson.

There are too many factors to unload on one game. Turnovers are 75% unpredictable and the team that wins turnovers win the game 90% of the time. Even your best pick only has 65-70% chance to cover. I would wager only 25% of your roll if you really love it.

never ever never ever never ever bet your entire bankroll on one game. The absolute most I would put on it would be 50% but the safer bet is 25%. Win great, lose and you still have 3/4 (minus juice) of your bankroll for that next bet of a lifetime

                            Good luck Homer

Keep it in your mattress, it is safer there than on the Vikes and in the bank.
