It looks to me like they threw a hook out there - fishing for Indy bettors.

I totally hear you wtih what your saying and 8 times out of 10 would agree with this logic about the line. However in this instance, and now this is just my personal opinion, I think this line is set to get more heavy sharps action in on SD than it is to get square action on Indy. Almost like a reverse trap line. Regardless we will find out and GL!!!

my guess is that the books expected everyone to take those points and run with them - they are.

Atlanta has done ok on the road this year going 4-4,
beating Minny and San Diego (2 play-off teams) in their last 5 games.

Opening at Atl (-3) and moving now to Ariz (-1.5) [a huge 4.5 pt swing] WOW !

I guarantee you there's a ton of money bet on Arizona.
For the line to move (4.5 pts) a lot of fkn money went on Ariz.
The public and their hundred dollar bets may be on Atl, i don't know.
(but i do know, if Arizona cuvers the books WILL get killed)
