Kaptain Karl: A few years ago we were on the phone and you told me how much you thought of Houston Nutt as a college coach. I never forgot that and rather than making Ole Miss a Top Linemaker Game I pushed it all the way with The Rebels. Apparently The Linesmaker shares our respect for Mr. Nutt. Texas Tech -5 ( in Texas ) was a ridiculously low line designed to trap most wagerers.

Bowl Game of The Year … U Connecticut , giving 4 … a Quadruple Play …. make the U Conn play as strong as Hawaii and Mississippi.
I laid 4 when I made the pick on UConn and posted the bowl thread 2 weeks ago ... Do I still like them at -6 1/2 ? Yes, but of course not as much .
What can I say ? When we wait until the last minute , sometimes we get a break with the line , sometimes we don't. This is another game where it didn't pay to wait.
