Yep. I was very impessed with Utahs offense and how well they ran the spread. Reminded me of the Patriots offense with Brady running the 4 and 5 WR spread and picking defenses apart with 8 to 10 yard passes.

I think its safe to say nobody's defense comes close to USC. I heard Bama had a good defense. They looked average tonight.

Too bad, USC, Utah, Mississippi won't have a shot at a title. They all deserve one based on what I've seen the last few days.....

Why not? They are undefeated and soundly beat Alabama which gave Florida a game until late in the 4th quater.

They are undefeated. Not just one game. And they handled one of the best teams in the country, easily. They really did. Trust me, I hate the Mountain West, but Utah beat a really good TCU team, beat BYU and took care of business against a team that was ranked #1 in the country for a good part of the year.

Why wouldn't they deserve at least a share of the title? I can think of less deserved co champions in past years that were given co champs because of their reputations.

They'll be considered and definitely voted for.....May not happen. But they deserve to be considered.

And to think Bama would be playing for the championship if the SEC didn't have a championship game like other conferences. Bama was exposed tonight. What a joke of a system we have for college fans and players. Leaves a sour taste in my mouth after every year.

Weazel, the SEC championship was Bama's National Championship....and they lost. This bowl game means nothing to them. Is UTAH better? Maybe-but I don't believe they got Bama's best game nor the focus they needed to compete. Hats off to Utah as they played a great game!
