  • Breeders Cup Selections

In the two Breeders Cups run at Santa Anita, in 1986 and 1993, 8 of 14 were won by horses based in Southern California. Although Europeans have been dominant in the mile and turf, only 1 of the 4 races over the Santa Anita turf course has been won by a European. British and Irish hores are 0-for-Santa Anita.

As stated in my earlier posts, No race run on the main track, (the Mile, the Filly & Mare turf, and The Turf will be run on the main track) in 1986 and 1993, was won by a horse breaking from a post position wider than Post 6, and a overwhelming majority of horses breaking from Post 8 on out finished unplaced.

Why?, because of Santa Anita's grass course gate placement. The gate is connected to a downhill chute, forcing the horses to cross the main track after leaving the chute. It causes a change of foot, and IMO, helps the horses familiar with that change.

With that being said, below are my selections for the Breeders Cup. I will be playing Pick 3's, 4's, and 6's with the horses I have selected in a par wheel type bet.

GL and I hope you all have a great day.

I'm going to bet Hold that Tiger in the Classic,

It should be a pretty busy day on the gambling circuit,
