Good luck, but if your rationale for taking Rutgers is common opponent, you should also know that Rutgers lost to North Carolina 44-12 while N.C. State beat North Carolina 41-10.

You can't use these comparisons, especially with these teams! S.Florida was tough in the early going, ranked as high as #2, remember? Then they turned to shit! NC State was very shakey early on, and that's when they lost to S.Florida. Rutgers played S.Fla after S.Fla took the nose-dive, and wasn't nearly the team that beat NC State! If NC State was to play S.Fla today, they'd probably win! All I know is that the ACC is better than the Big East IMHO, and I'd take the 6.5 to 7 pts. I'm just staing that simply using comparisons versus teams from different times of the season is dangerious, and not indicitive of how the teams are actually playing.

You might be right - but that doesn't say much for Nc State

Nc State came in (LAST) in division & (10th) out of 12 in conference.
(they only won 2 more games than) [Duke] - a basketball school

Rutgers came in (4th) out of the 8 in their conference.

I'm not trying to convince you to do anything (i'm on Rutgers) - good luck with Nc State.

for what it helps NC State sucked ass in the early season. They made a couple of adjustments and at the end of the season they were playing some really good football. I look for them to win straight up today JMO! I have been really looking forward to this bowl game.
