No matter what QB is playing the Eagles are going to be playing a tough team next week. Dont bet on this game simply because you think Jackson is starting and going to choke. McNabb and Philly on the road this year let alone a road "playoff" game:
LOST 41-37 @ DALLAS (non-playoff team)
LOST 24-20 @ CHICAGO (non-playoff team)
WON 40-26 @ SAN FRAN (non-playoff team) also I am pretty sure the Eagles were losing by like 2 TD's in this one and the Niners had like 5 turnovers practically throwing this one away.
WON 26-7 @ SEATTLE (non-playoff team)
TIED 13-13 @ CINCY (non-playoff team)
LOST 36-7 @ BALTIMORE (playoff team)
WON 20-14 @ NY GIANTS (playoff team)
LOST 10-3 @ WASHINGTON (non-playoff team)

Well, they did beat the G-Men today, but I don't know that I'd go bragging about needing a 50 yard FG as time expired......at home..........against a team that had nothing to play for.......had no Brandon Jacobs (key cog in that offense)..........and had David Carr and their 3rd string RB playing the entire 2nd half.Originally posted by hokie99 View PostMinny blows? Surprised at the line of Philly -3.
It's hard to bet against a team ranked #1 defensively against the run added to the fact they have the best RB in the league on the other side of the ball.
IMO though, this game comes down to one thing:
McNabb's ability to expose Minnesota's weak pass D. If McNabb has a great game throwing the ball, I think the Eagles win a close game.
