Just wanted to say thanks i just recieved my gift card from the pick 3 in the mail today.you and all the mods make this a great place and i am so thankful to be part of this family.been in the dumps here lately found out my girlfriend was pregnant on deceber 6th and she lost our baby ON DECEMBER 17.WENT FROM BEST CHRISTMAS EVER TO WORST.did not really feel like doing much of anything but i kept logging on here and could always get away for a while and laugh.this place means more to me than anyone will ever know.thanks to all the mods and everyone that makes this site what it is.believe it or not that $50 gift card really is going to come in handy.with all that has happened with my girlfriend our insurance not being that great took up alot of our christmas $$$$$$$$ all we did was buy the kids and this will help out getting them some more stuff.i really want you to know that i am grateful for everything.

yeah buddy i had seen that.thanks buddy believe it or not the first time i laughed since the 17th was when you were giving him such a hard time.i am doing alot better than she is she is pretty much devastated but trying to be strong for her if she knows i am upset also then will make it worse for her.a woman always blames themselves when this happens she keeps saying maybe i had my seatbelt on to tight or something to that effect.but bryan let me tell you this and please take it to heart.your humor and what you do on this site helps alot of people even when you dont even know what they are going through.i was in the process of stopping drinking and thought i needed to stop gambling to do it but i just realized i need this place alot.i can control the drinking it has went down to about 3 beers a day so i am going to start being on here like i used to.kinda feel empty without it.

Jerry, I don't know if you remember but about a 1 1/2 years ago, my daughter lost her baby. It was traumatic for me, as a parent to see my daughter hurt so much. So I feel your pain and my prayers go out to you and your girlfriend. There was a reason God took my daughters baby, my grandchild. We have no idea why, but our faith got us thru. Now, she had a beautiful boy on Seprember 24 of this year - a healthy beautiful son and my first grandchild.
There was a reason God took your baby. We don't know why - all we know is that it sucks big time. PLEASE keep the faith and you and your girlfriend will one day have a great XMAS with a beautiful baby. I truly believe that and I hope you do also.
When this happened to my daughter, many of the posters here emailed me, posted threads for me and my family, etc. This made me realize why I log on when I can and chat with the guys and gals on here - this is a family, whether its just on the computer or not - most of these people really do care. I know I do.
You and your girlfriend will be in my thoughts and prayers this holiday and my prayer is that your hurt eases (it won't go away) and that your faith continues.

you are so right my friend.thanks alot.she has 2 kids already that i love like my own.12 and 8 yrs old.we have been together for 8 yrs so i have expierenced everything i need.its funny sometimes you think you need something in life to make yourself and your life worthwhile,but then when something like this happens you realize everything you need and wish for you already have.we found out on december 6th she was pregnant because i was at work and she passed out going to the bathroom my 12 yr old called 911 when i met them at the hospital we were told she was pregnant 6.2 weeks.1 week later she started bleeding real bad and we went back to the hospital and were there for about 10 h0urs the doctor finally came back and said that she had lost so much blood that she needeed a transfusion not alot but a very small ammount to go see a specialist right away we found out monday that the baby's hearbeat had stopped.i just realized that there are alot more things important like her and the kids i already have than to risk losing her by her trying to give me something that i wanted real bad.the good out of this was it brought me and her closer together than we have ever been.i prayed to god to help us,which he did.i could have lost her and the baby if it would have lasted any longer which really scared me.now she is not taking it that well and i have my times where i get upset but i know it was gods will and my faith helps me through this.thanks buddy for the kind words

Sorry to hear that Jerry. Having a miscarriage is the worst feeling. I went through it before my daughter was born.

I remember not being to happy I got my girlfriend pregnant and just when I started to get excited about the idea of having a child she miscarried. But we tried again and now I have a buetiful 6 year old girl now (not with her mother though who is the biggest selfish Bitch in the world who cares about noone but herself, should have taken the miscarriage as a sign, but I would not trade my daughter in for the world).

Tech my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

I know exactly what you are saying about this place, it is a great distractor to the grind of life. I just recently found out my mother (only 61 yrs old) has inoperable Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. She starts chemo tomorrow. It makes you see things a whole lot different. This place is somewhere I always come to laugh and maybe provide a few. A place for everything, and everything in its place, this is a wonderful "family" (no matter how disfunctional). Bettorschat puts the "fun" in disfunctional
