Well guys, here is the situation. I am in a betting league that I was lucky enough to win last year thanks to a lot of help from this and a couple of other forums . All participants put in $100 for 1500 points at the beginning of the NFL season and can re-buy 750 points during the first half of the contest for $50. This year, there is about $3,000 in the kitty. First second and third place finishers split at a rate of 70%, 20% and 10%. We must bet at least 100 points per week and we can bet up to 10 NCAAF or NFL games with a 500 point limit per game. We can?t bet more points than we have. The contest ends with the NFL regular season this Sunday. The first place team has 6,650 points. I?m in second with 5,900 and there are three teams with 5,150, 5,300 and 5,400 points behind me. According to the rules, we can all bet 500 points on each of 10 college or pro foots games if we want.I was down 1000 points last week. I bet 10 games @ 500 points each and went 4-6-0. In hind sight, if I had to pick my top 3 or 4, I might have come out even or ahead depending how honest I am about my top picks (you guys have some pretty nice write-ups!).
Sorry for the length of this post, but I am looking for some advice from you good cappers. I need a recommendation on how many and which games to bet knowing everyone else will be going for first place as well. It?s a long week of bowl and NFL games and, with your help, I?m ready to lock and load!
