I am throwing this one out early because I think the line may go up later in the week. I am playing Arizona -6 over Seattle. I like the Cards for a number of reasons. As everyone knows Arizona has failed to show up in their last 2 games after clinching their Division. I listened to Coach Whisenhunt's press conference yesterday and he stated that he was going to play this game like it was a playoff game within reason. He said the Cards badly needed a win in order to restore their confidence going into the playoffs. The last thing they need is a 3 game losing streak. I think they will get off to a large early lead and rest their regulars in the 4th quarter.
Another factor that I considered in picking this game is how the Seahawks will probably approach this game. I really think they shot their load Sunday in beating the Jets, giving Holmgren is final home win. I think they will come out flat and give a half ass performance. Seneca Wallace has a 30 point lower QB rating playing on the road as compared to at home. I think Arizona will put a beat down on Seattle and win going away. Good luck to everyone this week. Hopefully this will be a late Christmas present from the books.
