THIS WEEK I AM GOING TO BE A HOMER!!!!
5* OKLAHOMA STATE (-6.5) Big 12 picks our my specialty and I really believe that this line is so low for two reasons: One is OSU has not proven themselves on the road against a quality opponent. Nebraska was a good outing but fell short. Do you realize how bad Les would like to have that game later in the season? Las Vegas has this line so low cause it is at College Station. It is not the same College Station as it was a even a year ago. Pitt proved that this year. The second reason is OSU let Tech get a back door cover after being up by 27. That game was 5 hours long and the D was terribly tired! Won't happen this week, there should be plenty of three and out for the "ORANGECRUSH" defense! If we want to talk about blowing a lead, then what about A&M and UTAH? UTES came back from 21-0 only to lose in the last seconds at College Station. The Pokes are looking for the road win in order to make others turn their heads and take notice of a team that is on the rise. Plus they want to be known better than just the team that has beaten the Sooners the past two years. The Cowboys know this game is a MUST in order to go into Oklahoma next week and compete for the Big 12 Title with another shot at Nebraska! A&M is a terrible team and if OSU does not cover this spread they deserve to be called the "other" Oklahoma team!! Pokes Roll by 2 touchdowns!
4* Tulsa (-16.5) I shouldn't have to say too much since they are playing a pittiful SMU team. Many high school teams could cover this spread against SMU. Tulsa has covered the spread impressively the last 2/3 weeks. Tulsa is at home and will cover with no worries as to looking ahead, because they play UTEP next week.
4* Minnesota (-14.5) The Golden Gophers got beat up on by both Michigan schools the last two weeks just like I predicted. These boys are pissed off and want to take that last second field goal loss to Michigan out on someone! Too bad for the Illini! Not to mention Illinois has injury problems and are already looking forward to who their next coach will be!
3* Kansas (+20.5) Hey what about FAT MANgino? He has got this team on track for an impressive year. If they could have held on to beating Colorado they would be on top of the Big 12 North!! Mangino used to coach under Snyder and he wants to show his mentor just how much he learned! Especially after that 64-0 loss last year they took by K-State. K- State is not the team of old and I feel Whittmore has a big game. K-State wins 38-27 range. GO JAYHAWKS!
3*Tennessee (-3.5) I love Tennessee just because when you see a good looking chic you can ask her " You from Tennessee?" when she says NO, then You say" Well your the only Ten I See!!!" Man I love that line, even though I can't use it anymore.
Back to the game. This is one of those lines that scare me cause I thought the Vols would be favored by 10 or more. Alabama at home is tough, but Tennesse has had a week off to prepare for this game, since that ass whooping they took from Georgia. Vols know they must have a win here to still have a prayer at the SEC East.
2* Texas Tech (-3) Red Raiders would be a machine if they had any D!! Hey who needs D when you can score 50+ points a game? Nothing different about this week as TTech wears the Tigers down and win in fashion. Fashion being scoring 52 points and winning by 13. KANSAS wore the Tigers out on the road with the pass and so will Tech. So with that the predicted score is TTech 52 Tigers 39.
