  • Detroit Lions fighting flu bug

Reported by several local sources, they are using IV fluids and cold medicine to fight the flu this morning. I see several on the Lions here. Just would like for you to be fully informed.

    FLU BUG HITS THE LIONS
Posted by Mike Florio on December 21, 2008, 11:41 a.m. EST

In a season that has prompted many of their fans to blow chunks, several Lions players are literally doing the same.

Per ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, several Lions players are suffering from the flu, including quarterback Dan Orlovsky.

According to Adam Schefter of NFLN, quarterback Daunte Culpepper has been deactivated with a shoulder injury, so Orlovsky will get the start.

Orlovsky told Nichols that the fact that players have the flu will make it a better story when they beat the Saints to avoid going 0-15.

Wow, Orlovsky is suffering from hallucinations, too.

I thought the Lions have had the flu for the ENTIRE season.
