gl buddyIt's always better to be over something, never under. Unless we're talking about other things that I won't mention on a family forum. LOL
J/K. Just thought I'd try to make sure we all get his play and make no mistakes. Big Kapt has been on fire!

Final "SUNDAY" Plays
First off.....let's clarify symbols I've used for over 55 years, and they are standard in school, and especiallyt used by engineers world wide.....
> = OVER....standard, greater than symbol
< = UNDER....standard, lesser than symbol......
Go to any Dictionary, find symbols, Mathematics, and it'll be there......greater than, lesser than....hope this clarifies it for ya Kaz Dog
Late NFL/NCAA FB plays are as follows....
NFL -110.sides...all 5* plays
113 Eagles -4 1/2
118 Minn -3
125 Houston -7
122 Giants -3 1/2
2 team 7 pt teasers -130 -- ties push 10* PLAYS
113 Eagles + 2 1/2
122 Giants + 3 1/2
125 Houston Even
118 Minn +4
NCAA FB
209 TROY - 4 1/2....................................5*
gl to all---lock and load

Your symbols can easily be confused by people that aren't engineers and haven't used them for 55 years. Do as you please Kapt, it was only a suggestion, which sadly sounds like you took personally.
Just as Badger Joe said....."> is the sign for greater then so if is reads team x,y > 50 I would assume betting the over is the play."
If someone has to 'assume,' it's not clear enough. If someone even has to slightly 'think' about it, it's not clear enough. If someone has to go to a 'dictionary' to find which is which, it's not clear enough.....Not as clear as, Over/Under or Ovr/Undr or any way that makes it that clear.
Good luck

Doesn't help just me KAZ----helps everyone in ease of finding the play quickly......Not comparing apples to apples....

Standard symbols.....????,,,in an everyday Dictionary.....taught in the 4th grade.....?????...Didn't take it personaly, but scares me that a TEACHER would ask that question...?????....and you constantly keep trying to say, If I can ask for rotation #'s, for ease of reading, than I can show "O", for OVER, and "U" for UNDER.....Sounds like an extra AGENDA on your part....
Justas Badger Joe said....."> is the sign for greater then so if is reads team x,y > 50 I would assume betting the over is the play."
Correct ELEMENTARY School assumption....

1500 Members, I've used it B4, and you seem to be the only one that didn't understand it, or had a problem with it.....Nothing taken personal here, just don't understand your point....It's been clarified for you, shouldn't be a problem from here on.....I hope....You, of all people, shouldn't have had to go to a dictionary for the answer of a standard symbol......
> greater than 50, is no different than saying OVER 50.....
I think game to go OVER 50, and score to be greater > than 50, are selfexplanatory......
Good luck
Good luck to you also......

We're dealing with betting money here. If someone is slightly confused, even slightly, then perhaps it be better to use what everyone knows to be exact. Over/Under.
A 'TEACHER' understands that everything is clearly understood. By everyone. And doesn't 'assume' it is because some may think it's obvious.
Maybe Vegas should use those symbols instead of Over/Under, since 'everyone completely understands' what they mean without the slightest question....
I'm sure there will be sarcasm to follow. Sorry to clutter up your thread with a simple suggestion. Keep on truckin' buddy....You can have the last word.
