Friday's Rebound

Hey, BC! We took a hit last night. I dropped all 4 of my plays to drop to a mediocre 11-9... just glad I didn't play the Jaguars... That would've been disasterous! I am now going to start posting my picks with units... Here are the plays I have so far:


3 units - LAC/ Indiana u207.5

1 unit - Los Angeles Lakers -7.5

1 unit - Chicago/ Boston u196

1 unit - LA Kings +145 (I think they break thru tonight on the road, away from the pressure of the home fans.)


So just like yesterday, we are going pretty light, except for one of the totals in the NBA. I may have two more plays later... I'm looking closely at Wake Forest and the Denver Nuggets... We'll see though... Let's all bounce back today... GL, BC!

Adding:

I think I may have spotted some sort of trend. I won't go into it until it actually bears some fruit... but it involves me either picking up both of these units or loosing them both... On a two team parlay, you get paid 2.5:1... I was considering posting Marquette 1H/ W. Carolina Game and W. Carolina 1H/ Marquette Game with the assumption that one would win, thus picking up one and a half units, but I'll just go this route... Finish strong tonight, BC!!!

Attention! Attention! Attention!

Okay, I've been noticing somewhat of a trend in college hoops. It has also been occurring in the NBA, but with less consistency...

Over the past 3 to 5 days, I have noticed this... This may be old news, which would make he look stupid, but just trying to help here... That's what BC is all about!

Example:
Team A is favored to win by 9 points over Team B.
Team A is favored to be ahead by 5 over Team B at the half.

Scenario 1:
Team A covered the first half, enjoying an 8-point lead.
Trend: Bet on Team B to cover the second half.

Scenario 2:
Team A did not cover the 5-point half time spread.
Trend: Bet Team A to cover the second half.

Like I said, I've noticed this for a few days. Now you know Vegas, they ALWAYS buck the trend... You'll be lucky if you can ride it for a week. By the time I spot things, they don't last too much long after... But just a few examples:

Last night, Frenso State (-7) had a 6-point half time lead. They were giving 2 points in the second half and won the game by only 4? or 5? Bottomline, they did not cover.
Now look at today: Charleston was up big at the half. I took Wilmington +7.5. It was close, but it was a win. I also took Wake Forest -4.5, because they did not cover the halftime spread. It was close, but I won that, too. Now only if I had posted that... But I will follow this on the Marquette game. I'm gonna miss the New Orleans game because I'm posting this right now! If you ask me, I say it's a go!!!
