Thanks to Monte for his post as it always good to remember these things this time of year. 9-2-1 +109 units with 0-1 on parlays the last 2 weeks.
Gettin some feelers out early to anyone that wants to read and respond.
SD +3 and ML - San Diego was 4-8 and has won two games against bad teams since (bottom 4-5), yet they still find themselves with a chance to win their division and get a home game. Denver is bad and while I don't really see them losing to Buffalo at 4, it could set up a nice "story" if buffalo pulls off the upset and Denver and San Diego have to play basically a playoff game in week 17. After all, it was Ed Hochuli's missed call in the first game between the two that seperates these two teams right now, it would be nice if the stripes evened it out? San Diego won't have the benefit of knowing because they play early and Denver plays late. If you watched last week you know San Diego is still playing hard and Tampa is reeling a little bit - they got outplayed but Ryan left them in the game last week. This play depends a lot on Derrick Brooks and Garcia's status. We will see later how the public moves on this game but right now I'm showing 2-1 on SD.
Pittsburgh -1.5 - This line moved from pitt +1. Simply put, I think that Pitt is a better football team at damn near every position and they are playing for the right to stay home in the playoffs. No albert and no vanden bosch is absolutely huge in this game IMO. I will play this up to pitt -3 and will likely play Pitt to win the rest of the year. Keep in mind that the last two weeks when Ben and Pittsburgh absolutely had to win, they did. They are good and are used to playing in this position.
New England will definitely be a teaser game for me, still working out the kinks on that game.
That's a look at the early card and like always I appreciate any feedback anybody has even if it goes the other way. Let's keep the roll going as the playoffs are getting closer and closer.
