  • Fantasy football lineup question

I've got Gates as my TE, but he has blown hot ass over the last month. Carlson, who has been very good the last couple weeks, and is available. Normally I stick with my "studs," and had planned on rolling with Gates until I saw the weather in KC. 25 to 30 sustained winds with gusts up to 45 mph. One thought is the wind can mess up the passing game, the other thought is that it might mean a lot more short passes, where Gates comes into play.

    Who would you start?

Question right back at you. I need to drop one of four... Portis, t jones, lt or slaton

it is playoff time, i have gates too. who has the chance to be explosive ( gates ) tight ends suck anyway you always hope to get around 5 points out of them. if gates has good game maybe 12-15 points, shitty game 2 !!! i have road him all year and will do so again today

Wow, now that is a difficult call at RB. Portis actually practiced and I think he gets 25 touches today, which against the Bungals is a good thing. Of course he is down a couple lineman. Thomas Jones, just keeps on surprising me each week, and going against the awful Bills' offense, I think they get up and run the ball all day. Slaton's been a top 5 back over the last month, and played quite well against the Titans' last time they faced. LT has kinds sucked this year, but KC gives it up to RBs like no tomorrow. Damn, let me think about that.

At wideout, easy call on dropping Jackson. Way too inconsistent, and with the conditions in KC, I think that's an easy one.

Back to RB, my gut says Slaton, but honestly it is a toss up. I think you could throw them in a hat and draw names. Sorry I couldn't be more definitive.

Harold...My opinion, FWIW is this...If SD can they are gonna feed LT ALL day long. Even though AG would probably be the most targeted of the SD receivers, I'd have to go JC...Seattle's running game is crap and I like the Hawks inside instead of inb a blizzard.

Shaun...yours is more difficult...I'd hate to drop any of those RBs...Portis and Jones finish in possible really nasty weather where you'd really like to run it 40 times, but maybe Leon's taking carries from TJ would give a little lean...I;ve been really disapointed with LT, but he IS LT and Slaton's been amazing so put em in a hat and draw one. I've alos got all three of those WRs on one of my teams and if I hadda chosse, I'd cut VJ since I still believe LT is LT...Good luck to you both
