I have been having fun with this for the past year. I used to sit back and make fun of my buddies that put in those dumb ten point teasers. Then I saw other guys putting in 14 pt teasers and doing pretty well, so my buddies and I get together and put in imaginary 14 teasers (4 teams, -130) to see how we'd do. We always win, but that's on Sunday monrnings. I started reading Wayne's threads, and he puts in a ton of teasers, including 10 pt teasers. If it's good enough for Wayne, a capper we all respect, that's good enough to at least try out.
I propose we have a 4 team, 14 pt teaser challenge (Ties LOSE, like at most books that offer them). Each week, we post a 14 pt teaser in the same thread, and it'll act as another survivor pool. Let's see how the forum does, individually and as a whole. If Monte and Wayne don't care, that is. I'd like to see how many of us last doing this. I'll grade the wagers. The object is to pick a winner each week, but it will also give us some insight as to how well we could do putting these wagers in. Sides and totals are both allowed in 14 pt teasers.
I'll start us off with one right now, and you can give me yours in this thread, College and Pro picks are allowed. We go by the lines on BET 365, since they are a sponsor of this site and have available lines....any takers?
