Who said anything about betting them? I bet against them a time or 2 this year. Listening to you they shouldn't even be playing in the game.

I wanted to interject something into KB and Wayne's conversation which is filled with strong points. And this game will be debated on here for the next 30 days which is what this forum is all about so Im looking forward to that. I havent decided in any way which way I am going on the game and I do agree with Wayne that the line seems about right to me. If I made the line myself I may open it up at a pickem but I can see Florida as a slight favorite also, which they are. Anyway, my point is this. Florida's defense is bolstered by a speedy and aggressive secondary. A secondary that is a main factor in making that defense as highly rated as it is. But something I think that will negate that strength to some extent is the offensive line of OU. They are the best offensive line in the country, imo, bar none. Sam Bradford goes through games on a regular basis without getting touched or even pressured much. And no matter how good the cover corners are and no matter how hard the safeties hit and no matter how quickly the secondary as a unit closes on the target receiver, given the amount of time that OU gives Sam Bradford to find a receiver, the quality of that secondary has to be and imo, will be negated somewhat. Given time, we all know that the lower tier qbs would look a lot better if they had all day to throw and the top tier qbs wouldnt be as good if they were running for their lives all day. But combining a top tier O-line and a top tier qb as OU does, I think makes even a highly rated defense like Florida susceptible to giving up some points. TCU being in the MWC not withstanding, that defense is filled with future NFL prospects and they allowed 35 points to OU. And that was before OU hit their groove. So if I were to lean with OU in this game, their o-line would be the reason why. Of course though there are numerous reasons why I would lean with UF so weighing those reasons is the key to making a good selection on this game.
