  • NFL Picks Week 13

    Good luck to all!

    1*: 1/3 to 1/4 Unit
    2*: 1 Unit
    3*: 1.3-1.5 Units
    4*: 1.5-1.66 Units
    5*: 2+ Units

    2* Philadelphia -3 over Arizona
The Eagles are better than their 5-5-1 record and McNabb is still a very good QB. In fact, he is 2nd in NFL HISTORY in interceptions/pass attempt. The reason that the Eagles lost 36-7 last week was because of a -5 turnover ratio. The Eagles average 4 YPR (20th) and 6.8 YPPA. Defensively, they are very good only allowing 3.5 YPR (9th) and 6.6 YPPA (10th). Zona is bad on the road including 0-3 when playing on the east coast and now they have to travel on a short week after playing a tough game versus the Giants. Their passing game is strong, but they average only 3.4 YPR (31st). Their run D is pretty good allowing 3.7 YPR, but their pass D is bad allowing 7.3 YPPA (21st). With Philly off 2 losses and a tie and McNabb being scrutinized I think they bounce back this week.

might have up to 4 more plays...good luck

                        1* Denver +8 over N.Y. Jets
The Jets are off two HUGE wins against the Pats and the Titans and are in for a let down against the Broncos. The Broncos have been up and down all year and after a blowout loss to Oakland at home I see them bouncing back this week. Denver averaged 4.4 YPr (5ht) and 7.5 YPPA (10th). Cutler is going to be able to pass easily against a Jets D that allows 7.5 YPPA (18th). It's no secret that the Broncos defense isn't good, but I think they will step up this week and hold down the Jets mediocre offense. Denver is -12 in turnover ratio which is playing a big part in their 6-5 record. I also think that Denver has a chance at the upset here and would take the money line for 0.2 units.

thanks guys, heres the rest of my plays. Might add sunday and monday nighter later. Good luck.

                              1*: 1/3 to 1/4 Unit
                              2*: 1 Unit
                              3*: 1.3-1.5 Units
                              4*: 1.5-1.66 Units
                              5*: 2+ Units

1* Tampa Bay -4 over New Orleans
New Orleans cannot win on the road (1-4), while T.B. is 5-0 at home and I see this trend continuing. New Orleans have the best passing game in the league (8.4 YPPA), but Tampa's pass D is great only allowing 6.2 YPPA. On the other side of the ball, the Saints are terrible on defense. They allow 4.2 YPR (20th) and 7.1 YPPA (18th). N.O. won this week 1 meeting 24-20, but in the contest TB threw the ball 41 times. I don't see them doing that this week. I see them controlling the game and the clock on the ground. Tampa will continue its home dominance.

                              1* Washington +4 over N.Y. Giants
With the Giants coming off 6 consecutive wins ATS and SU they are in for a letdown on the road against a division rival. The Giants won this week 1 meeting 16-7 but this is a different Redskins team. The Giants may be without Jacobs and Bradshaw which should hurt their number 1 running game. Even if they do play I think that the Skins D can hold them down; they only allow 3.9 YPR. Eli is 16th in YPPA and the Skins have one of the best pass defenses in the league allowing only 6 YPPA (3rd). Washington's run offense is great gaining 4.6 YPR (3rd) which should control the clock. The Skins have lost their last 2 at home and I think they will be ready for the upset here. I would have this at at least a 2* (or higher) but because of the Giants recent road dominance.

                              1* S.F. +7 over Buffalo
How Buffalo is a TD favorite in this game is beyond me. San Fran may be 3-8, but their stats indicate that they are better than that. The Niners average 4.2 YPR and 7.7 YPPA (9th). Defensively they are very strong allowing only 3.6 YPR (7th) and 7.1 YPPA (16th). So, you may be wondering how they are 3-8. It's their inability to score in the red zone and their turnover ratio of -13 (last in the league). With Hill now at the helm they won't turn the ball over as much and I foresee their redzone offense improving. Buffalo has shown their true colors as of late. They are 6-5, but have faced the easiest schedule in the league. Their running offense is bad averaging 3.8 YPR (22nd) and their passing O is pretty good averaging 7.7 YPPA (8th). Defensively they cannot stop the run allowing 4.3 YPR (23rd) or the pass allowing 7 YPPA (15th). With their playoffs hopes still alive (barely) I think they will overlook this underrated Niners team and look ahead to Miami next week. I also like the money line in this game for 0.2 units.
