I'm coming off a horrendous CFB weekend in which I lost my game of the year when Wisconsin committed three disastrous second quarter turnovers, not enough to overcome their total dominance in the second half in which they won but didn't cover. My loss on my two big plays has eroded the unit count even though I amn still hitting 57 percent.
2* Purdue -11 1/2
This is Tiller's swan song at Purdue and, if there is any justice, the finale for Lynch's miserable tenure at Indiana. These are two bad teams but Indiana is worse. Purdue actually played competitively in road losses to Mich State and Iowa while Indiana's awful defense has given up 235 points (not a misprint) in the last six games.
1* Rice -9
Rice has scored 279 points in its last six games. It ends its season with three straight home games, starting with last week's win over Army. Marshall has an awful offense and it's hard to see how they can keep up.
Opinion only:
Northwestern
NFL YTD 12-13 -2.8 units

1* 9-10 -2.0 units
1* Titans -5
They win and cover every week, right? Besides it's a good spot to play Tennessee as they come home after a big road win against Jacksonville with only the Thursday game against the lowly Lions on deck.
1* Patriots +1
Miami has escaped with narrow wins two weeks in a row and it's about to catch up to them in a must win game for New England
1* Broncos -9 1/2
Oakland is an absolute mess right now and the Broncos are riding high off two impressive road upsets. I'd make this a 2* play except Denver is awful at home ATS (2-13). Still, Davis shot his mouth off AGAIN about Shanahan a few weeks ago and this is a chance for a humiliating payback.
1* Cardinals +3 1/2 (-120)
Arizona gets a chance to prove it's the real deal against the conference's best team. The Giants have to have a down game at some point (right??) and with a division game against Washington next may be vulnerable here.
Opinion only:
Lions (if the number gets high enough I might bite)
