riding a bike is easy and didn't take much to learn (there was some value to learning it).

Changing my own oil and filter has no value to me, 50 bucks or my hour or two. My hour or two is worth more than 50 bucks. Learning to program software has no value to me, i will pay what its costs to have it done for me. I could go on forever, the bottom line is intelligent people learn to outsource when it makes sense. Outsourcing learning how to ride a bike is a stupid analogy.

Why can't one pay for picks and root for whom they bet on, that is entertainment.....

Let me leave you with a thought....

would you pay for picks if the service year in and year out outperformed your own selections?

rightside: you are correct, it doesn't make sense to bash for no reason. The problem with ATS is they are not monitored (that I know of) by any legitament third party source. All the claims i see from these guys are produced by themselves.

i have seen some of their plays on consesus reports and they have consistently lost for years now.

Go to thesportsmonitor.com look at past records for baseketball, football, etc. There are plenty of cappers that average between 55-60% over the past 3-5 years.

College Basketabll Capping

I have never actually used a handicapper for college basketball. I have found that the first months of the season are the easiest to cap. Last 6 years, i have won about 61% of the time games are played pre-conference..........i never knew about this site and will start posting when the season begins..........

i look forward to sharing my picks with other qualified handicappers. I am new to this site and see some respectable names and some criminals being touted .. I hope the veterans can see through the jim feist, jack price,etc. etc. type of loser giving 2 sides to a game.

I have thought about getting monitored this year for my basketball and football starting soon but the lady who runs the monitor and i are having some issues...........

And you can bet that no , I wouldnt pay for anything I can do for nothing that takes just a bit of common sense . And I can tell that this is going nowhere because I cant grasp why on heavens earth I would pay anyone to do something that disappoints me ( and thats all services do ) I have as stated done just as well as nearly everyone of them out there . Yes I do keep a eye out for the second coming of the messiah and hes yet to show .

I will leave this subject alone because of my lacking to understand your point , I am old school and will not allow someone to do my homework for me , I guess the best way I could put it to you is this :

If it truely interests me , I learn it . I will not pay for someone to help me with my interests because they are mine , not his !

Again I wish you the best , and trust me I am not stupid , nor do I use and pay other people to hide my lack of intelligence . I face my devils all alone !

i love gambling but i admit thats its not a bad idea to also use a service you are comfortable with and show results


I would not imagine yourself or Wayne or Homer or GoldV, etc to use services cause you are very good at what you do

We could ALL own our own Service. All they do is cap games just like me and you, some people have time to do it and some don't and want to pay a Service. Your an IDIOT if you believe they have inside info and so on cause they don't. They just do their homework like the rest of us........ After that, may the best Salesman Win!:D

Hi and dont misunderstand my stance here . I used them years ago because of the "need " and became confident in my own ability to challenge them " only " after I told myself that this is my interest not his . At first I took some major butt whippings to say the least , but this motivated me to learn more about "my interests" and spured me on to learn far more . Now I dont go record as saying that I am jack the giant killer , but niether are they !!!

As far as thier being the only way to go , I disagree but its totally up to the individual to remain dormant and not learn his game , or challenge himself and take the next step to being better than the avg. bear .

I want to say furthermore that I in no way ever said that they where dishonest ( as stated ) even though some are , and never said that if you want to remain malcontent minded that you shouldnt use them . My position was they offer you nothing that you cant accomplish yourself , and as such you come back to blaming yourself for bad bets and not someone else ( which leads to becoming a far better gambler )

nut i agree, the good ones do their homework and the bad ones play both sides. It's pretty easy to figure out who is doing what.

I have seen monitoring services list different plays from what services give out to their clients in the past so that can also be misleading. Some services give monitors extra or different games to increase their chances of looking good or will even get monitored by various monitors, all having different picks. I'm not sure which plays you saw posted by ATS but if they lost them regularly in hoops I would guess that they were from their weak financial package membership and not their lock club. I was with them two years in a row for lock club hoops and I know they did very well during the first three months of each season, and were then around 50% for the remainder of each season. They picked up over 150 units in those first few months each year. I didn't use them last year and I did see some guys post some of their lock games last year here and they were not all that good. Although I think it was a little more into the season after they typically cool off. I will admite I wouldn't play their financial package games and I won't play any of their football games no matter how they rate those. And yes I know they do manipulate and advertise all of their wins to make them appear like they rarely loss.

It's great to see that there are still experienced guys here to cap hoops and I'm looking forward to seeing it live this year again. It's also reassuring to know that the service plays will be around for the those of us who like the best of both methods of playing.

Let's all kick some ass this year in hoops.

I think with this information age being far more equal now then 20 years ago ( computers sure help ) that what you said about inside info " is right on the money " and after all that is what its all about ( $$$$ ) .

We cant fool ourselves and say that just because I gave " so-&-so some cash that my chances are far increased , that absolute hog-wash and I have years of info to back it up.

And you hit the nail on the head when you said some dont have the time , well I say time is money and never seperate the two because you will lose them " both " . If you invest the time , the cash will soon follow !
