No kidding. It's why Tampa could compete this year. Homegrown pitchers like Shields, Sonnanstine, and Price along with trade acquisitions like Kazmir and Garza can make a team real competitive on a small payroll. It's also why Tampa may not go anywhere for a while considering the arms they still have left in the minors.
