gl to ya Bill.......should be a shootout....TU atmosphere is not what it was B4 Ark loss.....Graham has em fired up though....the winner here has a front line shot at the Conf Championship.....
Houston can score.....If TU is clicking, they stomp em....If they start off slow, and doubts set in, they could be in trouble....
Game being in Houston is not good for TU....wish it was Home, where they shine....
best of luck Bill...quick question is it somewhat of a homer play? Im going to the game and if I bet UH it will be STRICTLY a homer play as I am very worried about Tulsa...or would you recommend an over bet that way if my coogs lose, but its a high scoring affair I could enjoy a good game and make a lil loot...
Thx all,
kapt & Ogarza
Yes, at 1st I had plenty of doubt on this game due to being at Hou & both are such high scoring o's.
But this is a big game with alot on the line and Tulsa has the edge in everything but yards allowed and punting and the only other really high powered offense that the cougars have faced is OSU's and they got smoked. (and OSU was not hitting on all cylinders in that game)
Both teams played @ SMU and the linesmakers saw Tulsa as a 27 pt fav and saw Houston as a 14 pt fav.
I think Tulsa should've been favored by 10, especially due to the injuries:
Houston Cougars
Ell Ash DT Out for season - Ankle - 10/30/08 notesHe will miss the remainder of the season with a high ankle sprain and torn pectoral muscle.
Patrick Edwards WR Out for season - Leg - 10/30/08 notesHe will miss the remainder of the season after having right leg surgery.
Josh Bell C Out indefinitely - Achilles - 10/30/08 notesHe is dealing with a torn Achilles.
J. Hinton Jr. C out for season - Shoulder - 10/14/08 noteshe will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury
Tulsa has no injuries.
I'm by no means going big on this game and after last week of really stinking up the joint, Tulsa will be my only play tomorrow.
