NY Sports Betting Ring Busted

MINEOLA, New York (AP) - New York officials say 12 men have been arrested in connection with a $30 million sports betting operation.

Authorities say the operation in New York handled bets on college and professional football. The alleged ringleaders are brothers.

Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice and Police Commissioner Lawrence Mulvey plan to discuss details of the case on Wednesday.

thanks for the news ICD... maybe i am dumb here but in my eyes gambling should be ok within the general public.. LOL.

as long as it doesn't go within the actual sport.. meaning people like Rick Tocchet, Pete Rose betting on games, that they are participating in..

weird Casinos are legal but gambling in sports is illegal and considered bad.. it is all just government related.

Check this site out brother...shows the discrepencies or "screw ups" in the lines...I only get a ticket when I can find value in 3 games and never take more than that MAX...
