Sports Betting Myths

Just wanted to know what some of the more common myths are when it comes to sports betting. It seems to me as if the majority of the society has a misconception in regards to how it all works out. Then again that could just be the clueless people that I run in to. A lot of times I find it entertaining to see how misinformed these people really are. While I do not claim to know everything myself I find it interesting that some can be so naive. Anyone know any myths when it comes to sports betting?

i dont know if this counts,but someone will ask you how much you bet on a game,and they will be shocked to hear that all you won was the same amount that you bet
