GL Kapt, I see why you like them but note that Patterson I believe is out for a few weeks...

Patterson is out with a broken hand. That is why the line is +6.5/+7. It wouldn't be that high if he was playing and it has been adjusted already. Having 5 starters back in CBB isn't always a good thing. IUPUI lost Patterson and they lost George Hill to the NBA. With that said, they have a wealth of talent coming in and some very good ball players still there. Freshman PG Larry Stone is a tremendous talent coming in and another Freshman SG Alex Young is said to have more talent than George Hill had and he was a 1st Rd. draft pick. We have seen plenty of Freshman dominate CBB of late too. They have great experience and a great mix of super freshman. This team will only get better when Patterson returns but they are still pretty good right now and coming off a 26 win season. NU is a solid fundamental team that is also bland. They were basically a .500 club last year and they may be a little better but they lack the athletic ability and scoring punch IUPUI has. Who knows, we will see.
