#25 South Carolina at #4 Florida [CBS | 3:30 PM ET]
South Carolina: The Gamecocks are looking to avoid duplicating last year's late-season slide, which resulted in five straight losses. “We’ve had a pretty good little run thus far and we’ve got two big, big games left to finish up the season,” South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier said. “Hopefully, we can finish strong and finish ranked when it’s all said and done.” In Spurrier's last trip to The Swamp two years ago, South Carolina nearly pulled off the upset. The Gators blocked a potential game-winning field-goal attempt with eight seconds remaining.
South Carolina is 11-4 ATS in its last 15 road games.
The OVER is 3-1 in the last 4 meetings.
Key Injuries - S Chris Culliver (suspension) will miss the 1st half.
PROJECTED SCORE: 21 (OVER - Total Play of the Day)
Florida (-21, O/U 49): The Gators clinched a spot in the SEC title game against Alabama with a 42-14 win over Vanderbilt last week. But their ultimate goal is to win their second national championship game in three years, so they can't afford another loss if they want to get into the BCS title game. “Making it to Atlanta for the SEC championship was one of our goals at the beginning of the season, but our goal is to take care of business every Saturday,” said reigning Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow.
Florida is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games overall.
The OVER is 20-8 in Florida's last 28 games on grass.
Key Injuries - OL Carl Johnson (knee) is probable.
PROJECTED SCORE: 42
California at Oregon State [ABC | 3:30 PM ET]
Cal: It doesn't get any easier for the Golden Bears when they visit Corvallis one week after taking on USC. The good news is that Cal has won in its last two trips to Oregon State, beating the Beavers by a combined score of 90-20. The bad news is that Oregon State's defense has been outstanding lately, surrendering an average of 14.3 points and 260.3 yards in the last four games while forcing 10 turnovers.
Cal is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 road games.
The UNDER is 9-4-1 in Cal's last 14 road games.
Key Injuries - OL Matt Laird (shoulder) is questionable.
PROJECTED SCORE: 24
Oregon State (-3, O/U 53.5): The Beavers have won five straight games in Pac-10 play and still have hopes of sharing the conference title with USC after handing the Trojans their only loss earlier in the season. They are coming off a 34-6 rout of UCLA at the Rose Bowl last week and would love nothing more than to play one more game there this season. “It would be a dream to come back here in January,” said Oregon State QB Sean Canfield.
Oregon State is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 games on turf.
Oregon State is 38-18-1 ATS in its last 57 home games.
Key Injuries - DL Stephen Paea (calf) is questionable.
CB Tim Clark (toe) is questionable.
WR Shane Morales (hip) is questionable.
PROJECTED SCORE: 28
Boston College at #19 Florida State [ABC | 8 PM ET]
BC: The Eagles are coming off their sixth straight win over Notre Dame, and it was an impressive one. They blanked the Irish 17-0 on national television - forcing five turnovers - and now appear headed for their 10th straight bowl game. BC must now visit Florida State and Wake Forest the next two weeks before finishing up the regular season at home against Maryland. The team has recorded three shutouts in a season for the first time since 1992.
BC is 1-3 ATS in its last 4 conference road games.
The UNDER is 7-3 in BC's last 10 road games.
Key Injuries - FB James McCluskey (fibula) is OUT.
PROJECTED SCORE: 17
FSU (-7, O/U 46.5): The Seminoles are coming off a lockdown performance in a 41-27 win over Clemson last week, as they gave up 125 yards of offense to the Tigers in the first quarter and just 89 the rest of the way. “For some reason, it seemed like we were playing very cautious coming out of the blocks,” FSU defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews said. “We weren’t really turning it loose and playing like we did from the second quarter on.” The Seminoles remain in the hunt for the ACC title but realize they can't afford a loss in this spot.
Florida State is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 home games.
The UNDER is 17-8 in FSU's last 25 November games.
Key Injuries - CB Tony Carter (shin) is questionable.
WR Bert Reed (suspension) is questionable.
PROJECTED SCORE: 30 (Side Play of the Day)
