Atlanta Falcons are remarkable

It is amazing what my home town Falcons are doing this year. This team was in complete shambles last year. Almost every so called expert had the Falcons as the worst team in the NFL, and most predicted a 3-13 season. Well, after ripping the Saints a new ass today, they are going to 6-3. It is really fun to watch what a good front office, good coach, and TEAMWORK can do for a team. Get rid of the Vick and Deangelo Halls, draft an stud in the making QB, nice RB in Turner, pro bowler in Roddy, and wins, wins, wins.

Atlanta is a great story! I knew they were getting a good QB from BC....but never imagined Matt would have such a year.

This team has really jelled together and are playing great ball!!

Matt Ryan ...... WOW what a Rookie. He and Turner have turned this whole team around. Who would have thunk this Mike Vick thing would have turned to roses with a #1 pick and Ryan in the end? Now i really like their future!!!

I tell you, listening to local radio all year hear from the Falcons' players are the praises if Mike Smith. Everyone loves going to battle for this guy and each other. He seems to done a masterful job of teaching the family/team concept. As we have seen is countless sports, sometimes a less talented "team" is a lot more effective that a bunch of all-stars that can't play as a team.

How bout this stat.The Falcons have played 240 minutes in the dome and have only trailed for 11 seconds.And those were the 11 seconds that it took to drive the field and kick the game winning field goal against Chicago.Thats pretty damn good if you ask me
