CFB YTD 24-16 +7.9 units
2* 5-3 +3.4 units
1* 19-13 +4.5 units
CFB/NFL Combined 36-27 +7.3 units
2* 8-6 +2.6 units
1* 28-21 +4.7 units
I went 2-0 last week in CFB with wins on Mia-Fl and Utah State, both 1* plays. This weekend's card has some very strong plays.
2* Rutgers -14
This is a spectacular spot to play Rutgers. They found their offense two weeks ago in destroying a very good Pitt team, scoring 55 points against a defense that showed its toughness against Notre Dame. Rutgers is off the bye and catches a Syracuse team off a surprising home upset of Louisville. They have to travel now and will be very flast. Rutgers by four touchdowns.
2* Tennessee -26 1/2
Tennessee will be fired up and play with emotion after the ousting of Fulmer, the guy who recruited all of them and is an institution at Tennessee. Wyoming is terrible and comes in for a non-conf game after a home upset of a lousy team. Wyoming can't score and Tennessee has a great defense. The Vols' weakness is the offense but they haven't played a D as rotten as Wyoming all year. Wyoming's Glenn may be fired himself after this wipeout.
1* San Jose State -7
This line has moved down because of an overreaction to San Jose's QB situation. The backup ius just as good as the starter and put up good stats in last week's road win. Lou Tech is off its big home upset of Fresno and has to travel cross-country. San Jose is a much better team and is at home and is playing for second place in the WAC.
1* UNLV +3 1/2
UNLV is a decent team that has played a tough schedule in the Mountain West. They catch New Mexico after a tough and heartbreaking loss to Utah. UNLV can salvage its season with a win as it would be bowl eligible with wins over the two worst teams in the league, Wyoming and SD State, next.
Opinions only:
Wake Forest
East Carolina
Air Force
NFL:
I'll write this one up later but am playing it now at the following line:
