  • Special plays 9 and 10 -- (7-2 ytd)

SUBJECT SHOULD READ SPECIAL PLAYS 10 AND 11.

Last nights Golden State OVER play was a loser. Hard to go over when the Warriors shot just 34% and were only 3 of 20 on three point shots. It was painful to watch. However, even with the loss, these Special Plays are still hitting at 77%. I now have two Special Plays based mostly on past trends.

One play is for tonight Nov 4th and the other is for tomorrow Nov 5th. It is very unusual having three plays of this type in three days but that dosen't take away from the strength of these plays. I'm posting both now because I may not have much time the next two days and hope you trust my plays enough to follow without any write ups this time.

    TUESDAY NOV 4TH
    PLAY NEW JERSEY PLUS 6.5

    WEDNESDAY NOV 5TH
PLAY NEW YORK KNICKS MINUS 4.5

I'm hoping, by tomorrow, the Knicks line drops some since people are not used to seeing them favored, but it's a Special Play no matter what the line is.

Boy, big mistake. Sorry about that but try to stick with these plays. 70% is good, even with such a small sample. I had Phoneix making their first trip cross country this season, not used to the jet lag yet and what happens, they shoot 63% and in the second quarter hit 13 of 14 FG attempts. For tomorrow as bad as the Knicks were last season, they won and covered their last two home games against Charlotte. They suck playing at Charlotte but it's different at home.

Golden State still likes to run. Its Memphis that has been dragging down teams to their levels in scoring. That line shouldve instantly raised red flags when they they were in the 220-230 range last year and they opened up at a 193.....I was gonna say something in the thread but didnt wanna say something negative right after tipoff.

                      BOL with the Knicks tomorrow

                      PEACE

Pimp. I know you well enough to realize you don't post anything negative just to make someone look bad. I'm OK with your posting something you caught that I might have missed and if I don't agree, I'll just say so. In this case, I did see Memphis was only scoring in the 80's it's first three games this season but did know last year they averaged 117 points when playing Golden State and that's the key. Last year they averaged just 94 points a game against Houston, 100.5 against Chicago and 104 against Orlando, way less than they averaged against the Warriors. That's why I wasen't too concerned with Memphis first three games this season.

Their points scored is more a factor of who they are playing than anything else. I really thought the line guys over reacted and set the line too low at 101.5.
