Chado's NFL GOY for Monday!!!
Ok guys this will be my one and only GOY for the 2008 NFL Season!!! I cant remember exactly but I am pretty sure my overall GOY posted record on bettorschat is something like 10-4 so lets make it even better tonight!!! I absolutely love this pick tonight and here is why:
Every single Monday Night Football game this season has went over the total. Thats a remarkable record of 8-0. When capping NFL "specifically" I love to go against the grain because NFL oddmakers are very smart in what they do attempting to put out sucker lines and totals to get the average Joe to pound something that seems to good to be true. Well this is exactly what they have done for tonight. The Steelers have scored 23 or more points in 3 of their last 4 and the Skins have done the same in 5 of their last 7 games. A COMBINED AVERAGE OF 46 POINTS WITH AN 8-0 OVER RECORD ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL AND ODDSMAKERS SET A JUICY LOW TOTAL OF ONLY 36-37 POINTS??? Can you hear that? Its the joe square public licking their chops for the 9th time this season thinking they will be able to bail out from all their Sunday losses with another easy MNF over. They see the Steelers dream team they know of and the unexpected exciting Red Skins of 2008 lighting up the scoreboard tonight...NOT!!! Also the public percentages I see have the over being bet at a clip of almost 70%...The Steelers average 107.3 yards per game rushing and the Skins average 155.2 yards per game themselves. Look for both teams to run run run all night long and dink and dunk underneath. Both teams love the run game and with great rushing attacks they will stick to what does them best which means the clock will just tick tick tick. I expect very little TD's scored tonight with a few FG's. As long as turnover dont burn us which one thing that can never cap against this one should go under quite easily IMO...GL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pittsburgh Steelers / Washington Redskins UNDER 37.0 (-110) GOY I suggest waiting as long as possible because this total can only increase...I am going to try and get 38.0 if possible by gametime as its a key number...
