i think this deal favors Denver, b/c they need'd a true point and Mcdyess is good off tha bench! i guess they'll play with 2 sg's in Det or have stuckey play tha point. Detroit has some pretty good player, so they'll be alright!

This deal will help both teams, especially Detroit.

Billups is getting very old and is not what he used to be. But Denver needs a true point guard and they need to get AI and his attitude out of there. Iverson is obviously better than Billups right now but that doesn't mean he was better for the Nuggets.

As for Detroit, they were going nowhere this year without an infusion of life. They are an old team that plays sloooowwww.
Iverson has something to prove and will amp things up. And, he'll fit in defensively.

Denver probably still isn't a playoff team but Detroit may have salvaged its season.

billups is in the 2nd yr of a 6 yr deal (im almost sure its 6 yrs). not sure about AI. pistons have been sayiong stuckey is their man of the future and he really looks good. ????'s how will curry handle 2 malcontents? don't forget sheed and we know about AI and larry brown. will they lose their team concept? AI me first. pistons have freed up $34 million in cap space. sheed's a free agent after the season. the question is, how far can they go this year? maybe only into the second round at best. and what will this team look like next year? also heard rumors of rip hamilton being available. tay prince may be the only player left from the championship year next season.

did some checking. billups has 3 years left on his contract and AI is a free agent at the end of the season. dice may be put on waivers and resigned by the pistons.

yeah this move gives the pistons financial flexibility after the year, knowing that stuckey will be their guy for the future....I like this move for denver, they needed to filll camby's void...and billups is a beast offensively and defensively he's one of the few point guards in the league that many teams just can't match up against...

I don't know how AI, the egotitical ONE MAN team, can possible fir in a team like DET that shares, passes, works together.....

I think it may be their demise, unles they can convince AI this a team work PISTONS team, not an AI show .....IMO
