He wins the NLCS & WS MVP Awards. The funny thing to me is that at the start of the MLB Season, i chose and bought 2 baseballs for the MLB Contest. One was Jonathan Papelbon and the other was ... you guessed it, Cole Hamels. I thought they were 2 great young pitchers, a starter and a closer. Who would have thunk it huh?


ctt8410 wins part 2 of the MLB Contest and as Hamels collects his 2nd MVP Award this Postseason in the WS, a signed ball of his shows up in the mail for ctt. That ball may have doubled in value from my house to his and to me, that is pretty cool!!!

It's funny. I just looked and the price of a Cole Hamels ball has doubled since last week. You used to be able to get 1 for $100 and now i see them for $218 & Up. Congrats ctt you lucky bastard. I should have kept that one!

I was wrong about K How (though he is still frustrating as hell) and yea, sorry I didn't realize their pitching was going to be as good as it was in the postseason. Say what you want, but this team won the WS based on pitching, not hitting.

Jimmy, EVERYBODY on this forum told you to take a chill pill ALL YEAR and relax. Remember ... slumps happen. Never once did you listen or believe. If i was you, i would feel dirty celebrating a title on this forum because you hated them for 6 months. "WE" were the only ones sticking up for that team, not YOU!
