congrats to the phillies on winning the world series.
1. first championship for the phillies since 1980.
a. they did lose to the blue jays in 91 or 92 i think.
b. tigers won the series in 1984 and lost 2 years ago.
2. 76'ers lost to the lakers in the nba finals 4 or 5 years ago.
a. 76'ers did win in 1983.
b. pistons have 3 championships in 1989 and 1990 and 2005.
3. flyers havent won a cup since the 70's.
a. they did lose twice i believe, once to le canadiens and once to the red wings.
b. the red wings have won 4 cups in the past 13 years losing in the finals once to new jersey.
4. the eagles have lost 2 super bowls since the 1980 season.
a. the LIONS............ enough said.
maybe they'll get there before i die. wait who am i kidding.
