General Notes:
The 2008 combined record for NCAA football and The NFL is 48-22
Last Week:
In the NCAA, last week was up and down … winning the Game of the Week with Bowling Green , but overall the Top Plays were 6-6. I hope I helped out with the Over in the BYU / UNLV game … ( it was So - And - So's TOY )
In the NFL , last week I was 5-1 … a 34 point, 3rd Quarter outburst by Arizona and Carolina prevented a 6-0 sweep . NFL Top Plays are now 15-3-1 for the last 3 weeks.
NCAA: Top Plays are now 25-15
Special Games are 1-2

Tennessee + 6, to defeat South Carolina
New Mexico St +21, will keep it close or even shock Boise St.

New Mexico +8 over Utah … another possible shocker
Iowa +3 over Illinois
West Virginia –3 over U Connecticut
Michigan +2 over Purdue
Central Michigan +3 over Indiana
Rice –2 over UTEP
Syracuse + 14 over Louisville

San Jose St.–16 over Idaho

Jets at Buffalo Under 43
Philadelphia at Seattle Over 43
The following 2 games almost made it as a Tops and are worth a decent play:
Arizona at Rams Over 48
Houston at Minnesota Under 47
Smaller Totals Plays:
Dallas at NY Giants Over 41
Baltimore at Cleveland Under 37
NFL Sides :
Side Play of The Week : Seattle +7 to shock Philadelphia
Top Sides :
St Louis +3 to defeat Arizona
Atlanta, giving 3 , to roll Oakland
The next one almost made it as a Top Side :
Green Bay, taking 6 , to edge Tennessee
Linesmaker’s Side Play :
The following game jumped up at me when I saw the line:
Miami +3 at Denver … meaning that Miami would be –3 ½ , even –4 at home over Denver … mind boggling.
I like Miami here and I’ll even take a ( long ) shot at the final score for a 37 to 1 payout on $100 …. Miami 30 Denver 27 ( I don't need to stipulate whether it's in OT or not )
Regular Plays:
Cleveland -1 over Baltimore ... I kinda like Cleveland more than I do The Jets or Dallas
NY Jets +6 to defeat Buffalo
Dallas +8 to defeat The Giants … this is just the kind of game which trips up the Giants … a game they should win … against an inferior team and coach … but in this spot they usually don’t. If I had more convincing evidence for Dallas I’d make this one a stronger Play … but I don’t. But Brad Johnson is an improvement over Romo.
Sunday Night:
Opinion on Indianapolis –5 over New England
Monday Night:
I know the track record for The Steelers on MNFB
If Squares are looking for a bale out , my educated guess is that they’ll most likely find themselves taking Pittsburgh
I Like Washington –2 and Under 37, but only for small.
