I have come to have a more open minded thought process in reference to this point being spot on as opposed to believing the games are fixed. NBA oddmakers seem to be more bang on with the spreads and totals and for that I dont wish to outsmart them by choosing picks in this sport. Not thinking the fact that it may be fixed necessarily. They are very good at what they do in NBA IMO....

I rarely buy the hook. When I had an account at Pinny I often did buy the hook. I could buy the hook while still laying -110 or -112. A few seasons ago I posted about 200 picks. The hook only came into play a few games.

Frank - if I remember correctly Road favorites do very well the first 2-4 weeks in the NBA season. Any stats trend you can find to back that up as I dont trust my memory alone
