Last Week: Tenn -4 (Excel Tenn -10)

    Week 9

Jaguars continue to be overrated. Although the Bengals are 0-8 Straight Up, the line @ Jags -7.5 (-8.0 in some places) is too high. Obviously injuries plays a role in the line, but with the Bengals off two blowout losses, even the excel line (Jags -3.0) is inflated.

    BENGALS +7.5

Yeah, I know. I like it as a light play, and I also like the UNDER.

Thanks. It's not my favorite game of the week, it's just the line with the biggest disparity. I like the UNDER in the game, and a light play on the Bungles. LOVE the Broncos and Colts this week...

Sports bettors were saying the same thing with KC and Thigpen last Sunday. The week's best bet rarely is the sexiest pick on the board.

I agree. I was on the Chiefs last week. Bengals are in same situation. Getting blown off the map two straight games in the NFL usually spells a cover the next week as a sizeable dog.

why the broncos??? seems like they should be easy pick at home... miami playin better ball this yr but -3 only the spread??? thats seems fishy to me.. denver always good at home i know they havent covered 5 in row overall and defense givin up lot points for yr (i had san diego game as win for denver cuz i lost w. a pick on s.d in vegas and would been push w. local back home so maybe havent covered ATS last 6)....bettors know denver is strugglin and miami has won at n.e. and beat bills last week but every square bettor will be on broncos in that game for sure... i just think line in that game is the goofy ass line of week...denver just -4 or -4.5 and i wouldnt think twice but at -3 i dont get it.... and if i see public toward end week heavy on broncos like prob will be and line doesnt budge i cant see takin denver....good luck on the plays
edification will take place pull up the reins and get outta the race.

I haven't surfed the net to see, but I would guess the public would be geared toward the Dolphins after beating the Bills. The guys I work with like Miami. Last week they liked the Bills and the Colts (0-2). I tend to keep an ear out for the football fans at work. The internet is a mix of public (squares) and cappers, whereas the guys I work around, none of them are cappers.

I think the line is about right and probably would've been somewhere around 4 or 5 had not the Broncos got blown out on Monday TV and Miami beat the Bills...

                        What line would you set?

Some of the most respected ratings have it -3

Dunkel Ratings: Miami 128.701; Denver 128.434

                        USA Today:
                        Miami Dolphins = 18.36
                        Denver Broncos = 17.52
                        Add HOME ADVANTAGE 3.98

Denver is 4-3 (should be 3-4). ATS 2-5. They've lost 3 of 4. They are off a blowout loss on MNF.

Miami is also 3-4 (also was intended) ATS 4-3. They've won 3 of 5 including a win vs a team, Buffalo, many consider one of the leagues better team.

i clearly said in my post -4 or -4.5 and i wouldnt blink twice at that game just makes denver seem easy at -3 i think they should win no prob but thats what worries me and id prob rather bet miami cuz looks fishy to me thats all...oh and also cuz this public right now is heavy on denver far as bets made like 85% i see and line is still 3? hmmmm
