No way they call it with the home team up in a possible clinching game. I think it should've been called earlier though. As 3Jack said, Pena bailed out MLB and that dummy Selig.

If it was 7-1, they woul dhave stopped it. IMO, they were never going to stop a 2-1 game with Phil winning so they would win a WS while in the locker room....

Selig just said he still woud've delayed it even if the rays didn't tie it up, but wouldn't have called it under any circumstance.

does this open up the chance for hamels to pitch a potential game 7??? i realize a lot of shit has to happen for that to transpire, but if they can't play tomorrow, somehow the rays win game 5 wed, win game 6 thurs, then maybe hamels could be a factor in a possible game 7 on 3 days rest??? food for thought...

Selig would have been breaking the rules then if Tampa Bay didn't it and the game was suspended until tomorrow.
At least in the regular season(I would assume same rules apply in post season), if TB hadn't scored in the sixth inning, the score would have reverted back to score at end of the last inning, in this case, meaning Philly would be declared the winner;there are very clear rules claiming when a game is considered official and when it is considered a suspended one;I believe I am correct but will check further.
Ps-I bet Philly tonight on ML, run line and totals;I got credit for the Philly win and the run line and totals play were declared no bets-obviously the betting rules are different from the ones used in the game itself.
