Puck It, it's been a blah week gambling and i'm feeling it tonight so i'm going "All In" with every sport. I had nobody to hook the Bruins up with and i hate laying juice, but i hate the puck line even more. On this rare occasion, lay it tonight!

"Stanley Cup" ( Units)

Boston ML ---> -200
Dallas ML ---> -120
GOOD LUCK

Ok wayne..my reasoning is as follows.......just some dumb logic
WVU can score and you need scores to win games..Auburn has a great defense, but no offense and WVU can run HB, FB & White as well as pass...Too many things for Auburn to watch out for. White can scramble and that pushes this over the edge for me.
Also, I little edge at home on national TV....Last edited by Seal Team Six; 10-23-2008, 07:45 PM.

Hey, it's not dumb logic. I was curious to see if i would get a response.
I think Auburn having almost 2 weeks to fix that offense will help in this game. The last game was a few days after the firing and i don't believe the Tigers had their heads in the game vs Arkansas. I think Auburn will throw a few wrinkles into their offense tonight and they will look better than they have. On defense i think Auburn has the speed to contain W.V. on the outside and the size to stop them up the middle.
Pat White has been pretty fragile of late and he could be 1 good hit from being out of this game again. West Virginia also has beaten nobody. They are (0-2) on the road against so - so teams in E. Carolina and Colorado. At home they are (4-0) but have beaten nobody. They beat 3 teams with a combined record of (6-15) in Marshall, Rutgers and Syracuse and the 4th win was against a 1-AA opponent. The 2 decent teams they played with a combined (8-6) record, they lost the game.
This will be a stiff test for W.V. tonight and i'm not sold on them being good enough to win. Auburn has seen some big time teams already and they hung with them pretty well. The Tigers have lost 3 of the last 4 but they lost those 3 games by a combined 9 points. I don't "Think" i'll need the points tonight but i'll take the 4. Even if Auburn loses, i think it will be by 3 or less.

Wayne,
Everything you said would have supported an Auburn win, but they did not contain Pat and they still have offense issues.
However, with that said I give you great respect as I have been following your picks for years and you have made me the $$$.
Let's have a friendly battle back and forth in the future.

I was with Wayne, especially with the off week. I might have jinxed him.
Once a SEAL, always a SEAL bro...You know that.
