3* Chicago -3 over Minnesota
I like Chi town in this divisional game! Minnesota is coming off two wins and will be traveling to the Bears who are coming off a loss to Atlanta and will be ready for a comeback. Minnesota will not be able to move the ball versus a Bears team that is 6th against the run and 8th against the pass. On the other side of the ball the Bears should move the ball in the air easily versus a Vikings pass D that gives up 7 YPPA (18th). My Super System has the Bears as a 9.5 point favorite and I like them as a 3* play.
2* Carolina -3 over New Orleans
New Orleans is overrated because the public loves to bet offense, but there D is bad. They are 22nd in the NFL against the rush and 21st against the pass. The biggest reason I like the Panthers is because they can stop the Saints only strength, their passing game. Brees is playing lights out this year, but the panthers only allow 5.7 YPPA (2nd in the NFL). Carolina's running game has been struggling this year (27th), but with their two headed monster in the backfield I think they eat up the Aint's. Carolina is coming off an embarassing loss at T.B. and will be ready to beat this division foe at home. My Super System has Carolina -3 so the number is on the money. Take Carolina as a 2*.
