HUGE MLB day yesterday so my MLB Picks remain the same as I posted from last nights thread except up the side by 1 more star:
CFB:
(I don't play many chalk plays but these two should be fun)
NCST and Clemson came out of two very physical games last week...unfortunately for both that each teams DEFENSES sustained heavy injuries AND to a couple of key starters. Moving the ball through the air will be the predominant choice as neither team has shown much of a running atttack. NCST BIG advantage passing AND CLEMSON Advantage Rushing as they returned YUSEF KELLY back as a starter and he did pick up 89 yards last week. That won't be enough tonight though. With both defenses down bad I look for scads of scoring in this one and NCST to remain undefeated at home!
3.5*==>NCST -4.5 (also a second play at a buy down to 3 to dump the hook)
2*==>(O)57
CST and AF are two vastly different offenses...AF can't pass and CST can't run. I believe I saw a stat where CST is in the top 10 in the nation in total offense and AF IS #17 in the nation on total pass defense.
BIG REASON I AM GOING WITH CSTATE HERE is Chance Harriges's injury sustained to his foot. Listed as probable and no doubt should start some are mumbling how it has slowed his speed a step and hurts to cut with the ball. Not good for an option offense on the road that will be keyed on by the defense! EVERYONE seems to be looking for a scorefest here but if it is it may be by a defensive AF score or two and passing by the Ex-MSU boy! AF squeeked by BYU and CSU hammered the same...hmmmm....this is the point in the season last year where AF went South.....AND I believe YOGI is right with DejaVu...BooBoo
3*==>CSTATE -5
2.5*==>(U)52
BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!!
